Children’s Church
Our children work hard at trying to serve the Lord & witness to those around us. We try to have an activity of some kind every month. We have fun at the same time that we are doing things for our community. Some times we visit our shut-ins & the nursing homes. Those little hearts & minds can
touch so many people & sometimes God uses our children to touch hearts for Christ. There are times that we make things with our
special little hands to bless someone else with. We would be glad to have anyone come & join us.
Included in the Children’s Ministry is the Children’s Church, which is coordinated by the Children’s Church Director. The children’s worship services are conducted three Sunday mornings of the month during the regular 11:00 Worship Hour for children from pre-school through 5th grade. There are three different teams of volunteer teachers who lead the worship service for the children each Sunday.
The purpose of the Children’s Church is to teach children about the love of God, the worship of God, and how to know God personally. Through involvement in bible study, music, and learning activities, the children are encouraged to treat their worship time as reverent time with God.
The Children's Ministry also consists of the Children's Choir.
The Children's Choir meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.. At this time they are working on Praise & Worship music based on the scriptures of Matthew 6:33 and Psalms 95:6. Our songs are all focused on seeking and worshipping God. We also have occasions we do bible trivia, bible drills and bible study in relation to the songs that we sing. By doing this we are not only teaching the children the words to the songs but also the meanings of the words that we sing.
